The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance issue made for intervention activities a large influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to permit the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social status sassa Assistance services,” the agency said.
